All fine, but breakfast quality.

We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was. The beds were comfortable, and the large fridge and microwave were super convenient. Breakfast was simple but good quality with friendly staff. Plus, it was centrally located, making access easy.

When visiting, check out the clean breakfast area, which often has a variety of items and attentive staff to assist.

My stay was marred by discomfort. The breakfast offerings were extremely limited and sugary, making it hard to find something healthy to start the day. I was disappointed to find that the coffee maker in my room didn’t work, and I really needed a kettle to enjoy a warm drink. Dark hallways and a cramped room dampened my mood further, with a much-needed refresh clearly overdue.

The hotel feels old and in need of fresh paint!!! The hallways are dimly lit and the carpets look tired. The room had a strange odor, perhaps remnants of previous smoking!!! Please update the maintenance of appliances!!!

Additionally, the cleanliness could be improved as the refrigerator didn’t function well, adding to an overall lackluster experience.

Although the location was convenient and there was a good-sized mini fridge, the bathroom showed signs of wear, with a slow-draining tub being particularly off-putting.

I really enjoyed my stay in a spacious king room with an upgraded feel and a really good breakfast that fueled my day. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The only hitch was a slight delay at check-in, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience! 😊

The Travelodge is well-placed near Nanaimo Harbour, making it convenient for accessing local amenities such as stores and restaurants. The room I stayed in was a King Room Non-Smoking, comfortable with strong water pressure and effective air conditioning. The complimentary breakfast featured an impressive selection, including waffles, eggs, and fruits, served by attentive staff who maintained cleanliness and stocked supplies effectively.
