Every detail was good there, including location and rooms. Some of the staff members were welcoming and polite. Room was neat with central heating, an iron and a coffee/tea maker. I appreciated having breakfast in the patio. Everything was simply good.

We were kinda surprised by how quiet our room was. The beds were comfortable, and the large fridge and microwave were super convenient. Breakfast was simple but good quality with friendly staff. Plus, it was centrally located.

Quiet little smoking hotel with pet-friendly rooms. Excellent co-operating staff throughout. Plenty of options for breakfast in the patio. Good location to harbor. Close to store and restaurants near by and the ferry, food outlets, downtown and the continental breakfast and Bastion and waterfront park.

we were moved to an a double room with a/c. it was a magnificent location for us, adjacent to the ferry, food outlets, downtown and the continental breakfast, and the ferry terminal for gabriola island.

from the minute I stepped onto the property, I was greeted in a professional but friendly manner by Kevin at the desk. the room assignment was made personal when he saw I walked with a cane - a room was assigned for more coinvenience.and comfort.

It was affordable, a good location and super comfortable. We really liked the service that we received too. Overall, we were quite pleased.

Convenient location near downtown and waterfront.
The breakfast offerings were limited and sugary. I was disappointed to find that the coffee maker in my room didn't work, and I really needed a kettle to enjoy a warm drink. Dark hallways and a cramped room dampened my mood further, with a much-needed refresh clearly overdue.

The hotel feels old and in need of fresh paint!!! The hallways are dimly lit and the carpets look tired. The room had a strange odor, perhaps remnants of previous smoking!!! Please update the maintenance of appliances!!!
